Waymo expanded its Los Angeles robotaxi service area on Nov. 3, adding the South Bay cities of Torrance, El Segundo and Manhattan Beach, the Los Angeles Times reports. The Times puts the L.A. County service area at 210 square miles. Waymo also added high-demand destinations such as Universal Studios and The Beverly Hills Hotel, and the Times says its San Diego area now reaches north to La Jolla.

Rides to and from LAX are still not offered. Waymo said it is in discussions with airport officials. Last year, an airport representative said LAX would integrate Waymo once its Skylink people mover is finished; after years of delays, that is now set to open in February at the earliest, the Times reports.

The South Bay move is part of the nearly 250 square miles across five cities that Waymo said on Oct. 27 it would add over the following week. Waymo runs in 15 U.S. cities, per the Times.
