Las Vegas-based Realbotix is taking $199 reservations for Echo, a new US-made humanoid robot line. The Echo Tabletop is a 25-pound, roughly 32-inch talking torso with a head, silicone skin on its face and neck, 17 degrees of freedom and no arms or legs, priced at $11,950. It comes in four characters: Aria, Mila, Dave and Amar.

Realbotix says it will build only 225 tabletop units and 25 full-body robots in the first run, with US deliveries expected in the second half of 2027. Talking to it needs an AI plan starting at $19.99 a month, which New Atlas reports covers about 10 hours of conversation.

Why it matters

This is a reservation, not a shipping product. Realbotix hasn't said whether production has started, and nobody outside the company has reviewed how well the robots hold a conversation.
