Peppermint Robotics, a Pune- and Austin-based maker of autonomous floor-cleaning robots, announced a ₹100 crore (about $10.5 million) pre-Series B round on November 4. pi Ventures and Crane Venture Partners led it, with Asiana Fund joining. Founder Runal Dahiwade told Inc42 most of it is new capital.

The company says its robots work in nine countries, in factories, hospitals, airports and warehouses, and that the US is its largest market. It claims revenue grew nearly sixfold between FY24 and FY26. It plans to open a North American assembly line, expand its material-handling robots and develop a next-generation cleanroom line.

Peppermint last raised ₹34 crore (about $4 million) in a Series A in April 2025.

Why it matters

Part of the round is secondary share sales, and the sixfold growth figure is Peppermint's own. Inc42 puts its FY25 operating revenue at ₹21 crore, and Peppermint told Inc42 it is still loss-making overall.
